A must stop every time when I'm in the North Shore. Two (2) locations now to serve you, with both on Upper Lonsdale. Price is right, huge portions and food taste awesome, Highly recommended!!

Delicious, generous portions and very reasonably priced. We ordered an extra kebab rice so we can have leftovers the next day. I think we could even have leftovers for two days Our go-to order is usually kebab rice, barberry rice with chicken leg and the ginormous lavash. Save 10% when you order online for pickup.

Amazing kubideh with freshly made lavash bread! Melts-in-mouth meat. More delicious than any Persian restaurant in the US. Definitely recommend if you are in Vancouver and want to try Persian food. Also very Persian ambience.

It's not the best quality or taste ever, but and this is a big but, the price for quality and portion size is amazing, especially for Vancouver. And it is self serve so no extra tip cost, yet still professional and friendly service. I'm eating with my Iranian family now and myself nor them have any complaints! Any the kebab naan was a bit late and they gave us a free desert.

Called Yaas and they advised if ordered on their website for pick up there's (currently) 10% off. You can choose the time the food is ready. *This review is for the 1629 Lonsdale Ave location, as they have a second place up the street. We ordered the Boneless Chicken Kebab Dish, the Boneless Chicken Soltani (with Beef Kubideh) Kebab Dish, and the Eggplant Dip with Persian Sauce. When I arrived at Yaas the food was ready right on time and the staff were very nice. Back to the car (although they had dine-in, we weren't yet comfortable with that) and the food looked fantastic with a generous amount of tahdig that I was happy to see. The Eggplant Dip had fried onions and (I think) dried mint which all together smelled incredible. I ate almost half of the order. The Kebabs were equally delicious. Tender meat, well seasoned, and juicy. I also found at the bottom of the bag some limes and raw onions and a bag of pita which we weren't expecting but was a nice surprise. Beef Kubideh with a sliver of onion in pita-so tasty. The value for the quantity/quality/taste is hard to beat. Yaas has been consistent since we first tried it years ago so we will continue to come here when in North Van. Another visit, ordered online, and food was ready right on time. I usually order the kebab so wanted to try something different. Got the Mixed Herb Stew Dish (7.99) with a side of plain rice (2.00). Along with the other dishes, we got the pita/lime/onions and the tahdig. I think the added some barberries to the tahdig which I had never had before. It was slightly sweet which was nice along with the savoury foods. The stew was hearty and perfect for a cool gray day. There were plenty of dried lemons which was a nice sour earthy balance to the richness and there was a good amount of beef chunks. I would order this again easily. The side of rice was enough for 3 of us! 10?! Incredible when compared to what 10 gets you at other places. Yaas delivers on flavour, portion, and value again. Daniel

If I'm in the area, I always try to stop in. Definitely one of my favourite lunch spots. I got the herb stew (has beef in it) which in Farsi is called "Ghormeh Sabzi", which is essentially Iran's national dish. It was spectacular! Don't forget to ask for a grilled tomato and for some Tadiq (tah-deek) ...they're especially made crispy bits from the bottom of the rice pot. And the whole meal cost only around 11 or so. So much rice! The service is super fast as they are as quick as fast food. Definitely go here.

One of the best Halal restaurant. I came there yesterday and it was too good. Just the bread was a bit cold. Everything else is perfect. Highly recommended

One of the beset Persian restaurants in North Vancouver. Reasonable prices. You should try "Baghali Polo" or lamb shank there. Quality of their food is the same as their original branch. This new branch has a more comfortable and beautiful place for serving food.
